Dr. Dianna Beavers came to the clinic in 1996 looking for a job as a kennel technician.  She then went on to become an undergraduate at Virginia Tech & Villa Julie for 3 years.  Afterwards dedicating 4 years to Virginia Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine.  She is the owner of the Animal Care Center and resides with her husband, Brian, 2 great danes, and 2 children.

Dr. Carvel Tiekert attended Cornell University in 1963.  Acquired his Certification in Acupuncture in 1984 followed by a Certification in Veterinary Chiropractic care.  He is also the founder and past president of the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association.  Currently he is a member of many national and international veterinary associations.

Pat Kocur does not necessarily work in the reception area or in the back with the technicians.  She does it all.  Starting out over 20 years ago before there was a full staff to help keep the clinic running, she was the glue that held it all together and still does.

Toni Caron has been with the clinic for many many years. She has quite a few dogs and cats of her own.  If you have any questions about your pooch, Toni is the one to ask!

Arlene Weller has been with us for quite a few years now.  She worked at the humane society of Harford county before joining our family here.  She has many kitties at home and will smother yours in lots of ooohhhs and aahhs!

Kristen Kerbe started out as a kennel technician and because of her dedication to the well being of our patients, she has worked her way up to the front desk.

Megan Starks started out in our kennel department too.  She has worked her way up to the front desk and is doing a great job!  She loves the big dogs!

Mark Matassa also began his employment here as a kennel tech and moved up to reception and then moved up again to assistant!  He has a great love for animals and knew most of our patients while they boarded and remembers just about every single one of them.

Melissa Ford has been at the clinic for several years now.  She has 3 dogs, 2 cats, 13 turtles, 2 rabbits, 1 frog, and rescues as many wild critters as she can handle!  She also is working with local rescues including Wildlife Rescue.

Shelly Edzik has worked her way up from kennel tech to reception to veterinary technician!  She has 2 beagles 1 Aust. cattle dog, 5 cats and a ball python named Lucy.  She has also been known to foster a kitten or 2...or 10.

Misty Sue Evanshine has a background in veterinary medicine.  She has rescued a beagle that was doomed to be euthanized and now he lives a full and happy life with Misty.  She has a special interest in cardiology.

Michelle Martz has a enormous passion for fostering kittens and cats!  She has been working with animals for over 10 years and has a huge love of Shih Tzus and Llhasa Apsos!

Belinda Tuerk is our kennel technician in the mornings.  You can catch her here Monday-Fridays.  Belinda takes exceptional care of our boarders!

The rest of our kennel staff is here on the weekends, weeknights and holidays.  They are all trained to keep an eye out on all of our guests in the clinic and to notify a doctor or technician if there are any concerns.  They are also trained to give medications as needed.
